ECMS V2.4

WELCOME TO ECMS V2.4 !

The whole idea behind the development of this new content management system is that you as a user shall be able to create and maintain your content in the most convenient fashion. After testing numerous CMS downloaded from HotScripts and others, I found the need to make a simple yet powerful system to make the threshold for newbies and average users less, in regards to fully comprehend the possibilities at hand.

This website is programmed using Java, PHP and mySQL as well as standard HTML and CSS. Layout is easily altered by editing the included style sheet main.css. As long as you don't mess with the PHP code, you may also adopt your current web design into this CMS by altering the HTML where needed.

The actual pages are designed like boxes. First comes the header, which includes everyting from the top of the page down to the main menu. Second is the left side, which includes the latest news, sub-menues, various info, ratings and newsletter. Third is the main box, which includes the actual written content and images if you decide to upload and diplay that. Finally, at the bottom comes the footer, which includes some statistics and a few "company" links.

The whereabouts of the different includes, or boxes if you like, are explained in the README.TXT file that comes together with this CMS. Should you decide to take on this system and incorporate it onto your own website, we wish you the best of luck and would be happy to see it in action.
